October 27, 2018, 8:00 pm-11:00 pmFor almost three decades now HOTEL CALIFORNIA have been recreating the legendary sound of THE EAGLES, and thrilling audiences all over the world. The band set the bar in 1986, and they’ve remained the industry leading substitute for The Eagles ever since. A long run by any measure, but it begs the question – what makes HOTEL CALIFORNIA so special? Well, incredible lead vocal similarity, intensely accurate instrumental work, soaring harmonies, and top flight live performances, just for starters. These are the band’s hallmarks, and the foundation on which their reputation has been built. With over a century of collective professional experience in the band today, they’re still going stronger than ever. If you love The Eagles, then welcome to the Hotel California – you’ve just found the next-best thing.

October 11, 2018, 8:00 pm-10:00 pmAndré-Philippe Gagnon gained his international reputation when he participated at the prestigious Montreal Just for Laughs. He impersonated, with accuracy, every artist of the song “We are the World”, written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie and recorded by USA for Africa. Gagnon was then invited to present the song on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. International fame followed including invitations to the Victoires de la Musique in Paris and the gala Cinema Chante in Gstaad, Switzerland, where he met Frank Sinatra, one of the artists that he imitates best.

September 28, 2018, 8:00 pm-11:00 pmJimmy Rankin’s new Moving East is pure East Coast, a homecoming album featuring true stories, tall tales and bittersweet ballads, and the classic folk-rock sound that Rankin helped pioneer. Just at a time when people are searching out authentic cultural voices, strong stories and well-crafted songs, Rankin has made an unapologetically East Coast folk-rock record, with a raw, unsentimental and current edge. “I’m putting the party back in the kitchen” quips Rankin. It’s called Moving East because that’s exactly what Jimmy’s done. He’s moved back to Nova Scotia after seven years living and working in Nashville. Hooking up with fellow Nova Scotian Joel Plaskett as producer, he’s made an album appealing to young and old alike, with songs running the gamut from gritty pub tunes to soulful ballads all featuring great storytelling, and fine songwriting.
